With many teams having only two or three games left on their schedule before the postseason begins, the end of the year announcements are beginning to kick into gear.
This week, the first twelve players who have accepted invitations to the 2017 Reese’s Senior Bowl have been announced.
The Reese’s Senior Bowl is an annual all-star showcase held in Mobile, Alabama. Throughout the week, NFL personnel from all 32 teams come to Mobile to watch some of the top upperclassmen in the draft class showcase their skills. The players are led by NFL staffs throughout the week, before facing off in an exhibition game on Saturday.
Every year some of the top prospects in the nation take the field for Senior Bowl Week.
Who are the first 12 players to join this year’s roster?
Baylor’s Seth Russell will likely not be a part of the Senior Bowl roster, after going down with a season-ending injury last weekend. However, with players like Davis Webb, Ryan Switzer and Amba Etta-Tawo in the first crop of players, this year’s edition of the Senior Bowl promises to be another good one.
The 2017 Senior Bowl will be held on Jan. 28, 2017 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
