Four Purdue football players accused of sexual assault

Four members of the Purdue football team have been accused of sexual assault by two female students, according to a report from the Indianapolis Star.

The incident allegedly occurred on Oct. 13 at an an off-campus residence.

The four players have not been identified and no one has been arrested or charged with any crime at this time, though Fox 59 states at least three of the players have criminal records.

The players have already been suspended.

“School officials must move quickly to hold these players accountable for their actions and show these victims that their voices are being heard,” attorney Mario Massillimany said in a statement. “If there are others out there who have been victimized in this manner, we encourage them to contact us to get the justice they deserve.”

Purdue has yet to comment on the situation.
