In the first episode of Saturday Night Live following the presidential election, the cast executed a perfect sketch to capture the wide range of emotions of Americans on election night.
This weekend, Alec Baldwin returned as President-Elect Donald Trump to give us a look at the preparations of the new administration in the latest SNL Cold Open. As you would expect, the sketch mocked the gross lack of preparation from the incoming administration and the questionable appointees to Trump’s cabinet — alt-right leader Steve Bannon, Jeff Beauregard Sessions and Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who has a record of incendiary statements about Muslims.
But hey, we have until January before Trump is sworn into office, so there is time for more the president-elect to come up with some new ideas and find ways to live up to his promises made on the campaign trail.
So, let’s take a look into the mind of “Donald Trump” in the latest piece of hilarity from the SNL cast and crew.
