Five-star RB Cam Akers ends high school career with 7 TD performance

Five-star running back Cam Akers is one of the top recruits in the nation and on Friday night he ended his high school career on a high note with the performance of a lifetime.

Akers carried Clinton Arrows on his shoulders en route to a 49-35 victory over Pearl in the Mississippi 6-A state championship game.

In that game, Akers had a whopping seven touchdowns, accounting for every touchdown of the game for his team.

If you’re wondering just how impressive Akers looked while single-handedly carrying his team to a state title, the internet came through with a highlight of all seven scores.

Future opponents are already having nightmares.

Akers is currently theĀ No. 2 running back recruit in the nation and the No. 5 overall prospect. He is the most highly-rated recruit in the state of Mississippi.

Akers is considering offers from the likes of Florida State, LSU, Ohio State and Ole Miss, with the 247 Sports Crystal Ball Projection giving the Rebels a slight advantage to land the blue chip prospect.
