The Baylor football program has been in turmoil since the summer when a sexual assault scandal rocked the university and led to the firing of multiple officials, including head coach Art Briles.
Since then, the Bears have been in search of a new head coach — it appears that interim head coach Jim Grobe will not be returning — and an impressive group of candidates are finally beginning to emerge.
On Monday, Bookmaker.eu released some betting odds and handicapped a group of seven men who they believe could lead the Bears onto the field at the start of the 2017 college football season.
Those men are Cal’s Sonny Dykes, Colorado’s Mike MacIntyre, Western Michigan’s PJ Fleck, former LSU coach Les Miles, Larry Fedora of UNC, Tulsa’s Philip Montgomery, and former NFL coach/Baylor alum Mike Singletary.
