The Baylor women’s basketball program is a perennial powerhouse; blowout wins are commonplace for them.
However, even if it were little league, this score would make some eyes pop. Closing out their non-conference schedule against Winthrop University, Baylor was relentless in their dominance from tip-off to final buzzer.
When the final whistle blew, the Lady Bears delivered a 108-point mollywhopping of the Eagles.

As one would expect, a number of statistical records were set in this game, along with the largest margin of victory for a D-I women’s basketball game.

If the sportsmanship police are sound their alarms right now, walk it back.
Baylor tried to take their foot off the gas and emptied their bench in the fourth quarter. The result? They outscored Winthorp 29-0. Maybe it’s time for a 10-run rule in women’s basketball.
Winthorp was unable to manage double-digits in shots made, totaling only nine at the end of regulation and shot only 13.6 percent. Baylor improves to 11-1, Winthorp falls and plays dead in an attempt to end the mauling.
