Yang Yang the Panda chooses Alabama over Washington in Peach Bowl

The best part of playoff season is getting completely clueless animals to choose between two objects and assign an intentional outcome prediction to its instinctual choice. In this case, though, the prediction was probably dead on.

Yang Yang the Panda at the Atlanta Zoo has predicted the Alabama Crimson Tide rolling over the Washington Huskies in this year’s Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

We got a Semifinal in Atlanta… 🐼🐼🐼

Alabama’s dominance has been well documented this year. They have seldom faced any concerning resistance and many expect that to continue, even in what is supposed to be a matchup of top tier teams.

Washington hopes to catch a few breaks against a smothering Crimson Tide defense and sneak out of Atlanta with a shocking win.

The Peach Bowl, which will be held on Dec. 31 at 3 p.m. ET, will decide who will advance to the National Championship.

The other side national final appears to be a little more competitive. While Alabama is a two-touchdown favorite in their matchup, Clemson is only a three-point favorite over Ohio State in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl.

I imagine if Yang Yang was asked to predict that game, she might take slightly longer while she considers Deshaun Watson’s mobility against Ohio State’s quick-to-the-edge defense.
