Texas A&M football: Speedy Noil arrested for marijuana possession

Speedy Noil’s tumultuous tenure with the Texas A&M football program has hit another stumbling block, with reports that the Aggies wide receiver was arrested for marijuana possession.

Noil reportedly turned himself in to College Station police after a warrant was put out for his arrest.

The junior wideout was arrested on a charge of possessing less than two ounces.

From Brent Zwerneman of the Houston Chronicle:

A warrant had been issued for his arrest, he already has posted $2,000 bond and has been released, according to CSPD: https://t.co/Xs8EAAEMN8

Unfortunately, Noil’s time in College Station has been marred by missteps off the field. Noil was arrested for driving without a license in April and was suspended on two occasions for a violation of team rules.

Hopefully Noil can eventually get his head on straight and get out of his own way.

In 2016, Noil recorded 21 receptions, 325 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
