Video: USC star Adoree Johnson injured in third quarter

USC and Penn State are in the middle of a dogfight. Tonight’s Rose Bowl has been a hotly contested back and forth that has seen the Nittany Lions mount a furious comeback over the USC Trojans.
The Trojans, who now trail in the fourth quarter, might have to go the rest of the way without Adoree Johnson.
Johnson sustained what an injury near the end of the third quarter.

The injury isn’t as severe as it was originally believed. Johnson, who had to be helped off the field, is thought to have an ankle injury, rather than a knee injury. In an attempt to get Johnson back on the field, the training staff has re-taped his ankle to provide stability.
Unfortunately, cameras later showed Jackson being consoled on the sideline, so it appears his night and season are over.
