Report: Baylor strength coach arrested for soliciting prostitute

The Baylor football program continues to find its way into the headlines for all of the wrong reasons.
Over the weekend, strength coach Brandon Washington was reportedly arrested on a misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution charge. Washington was promptly dismissed from the coaching staff, according to the Waco Tribune-Herald.
“After a full criminal background check was completed and cleared, Brandon Washington was recently hired as an assistant in the Football Strength and Conditioning area. Baylor was notified on February 4 of Brandon Washington’s arrest and terminated his employment immediately that day,” head coach Matt Rhule said in a statement.
“When we arrived at Baylor we made a commitment to character and integrity in our program. Brandon’s actions are completely unacceptable. We will not tolerate conduct that is contradictory to these values.”
It’s just the latest misstep for the program which was emerged in a sexual assault scandal last summer and ultimately led to the firing of head coach Art Briles.
