Scott Pagano has a number of schools vying for his services. In what was surely a donkey punch to several other programs around the country, the talented graduate transfer student from Clemson has cut the list of suitors down to five.
The five finalists are: Arkansas, Cal, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas.
Now a few months removed from having won a National Championship, the former Tigers defensive tackle is looking for more playing time and a chance to improve his draft stock with regular play elsewhere. He leaves a loaded defensive line rotation that would have seen him receive limited playing time due to the volume of capable players.
The graduate transfer student is one of the most coveted of the amateur offseason. As he is only allowed to take five visits, those schools now have to ready themselves for their pitch. The following dates have been set for his visits.
Notre Dame on March 24, Oklahoma on March 31 and Arkansas April 7. Pagano has also scheduled official trips to Texas for April 14 and Oregon on April 21.
