VIDEO: Softball Player Attempts Headfirst Slide, Turns Into Scorpion

||

If you’re ever going to attempt a headfirst slide during a day, make sure you have at least practiced before. Just ask Baylee Browning of the Erksine College softball team.

During a Division II softball game earlier this week between Carson-Newman and Erskine College, Browning was making her way to first base when she attempted to beat out the throw.

That’s when things went terribly, terribly wrong.

Browning left her feet and instead of gracefully beating the throw, she stuck in the dirt and did her best scorpion impression.

Just have a look:

Thursday was a rough day for these athletes 😬#SCNotTop10

Carson-Newman and Erskine College played a double-header, with Carson-Newman claiming the first game 10-2 and losing the second, 8-2. The loss in the second game ended a nine-game winning streak for the Eagles.
