It’s been a wild week for the Michigan basketball team and that continued on Friday afternoon in the 2017 Big 10 Tournament.
After rallying near the end of the second half, the Wolverines found themselves tied at 66 with top-seed Purdue. Michigan then stole the inbound pass and made what would have been the game-winning bucket.
Unfortunately, the whistle blew and the play was called off due to a clock error.
It forced the game to go to overtime.

But luckily for the Wolverines, their resilience once again was on display and they outpaced the Boilermakers in the overtime period to come away with 74-70 win to advance in the tournament.
After their plane was involved in a runway accident on its way to the tournament, the team having to play in practice uniforms and a clock error nearly taking away a win, it seems like nothing can stop Michigan right now in what is quickly becoming a magical postseason run.
