You have to love Regional MMA promotions. Every year the mixed martial arts regional circuit provides head-scratching and also some downright hilarious moments. That was once again the case this past weekend at KnockoutPromotions 54 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Ryse Brink and Joseph Nehm went head-to-head on the card, with Brink scoring a 10-second knockout.
Brink set the tone with a perfectly placed teep kick, before unloading a vicious flurry of punches to secure the finish. That’s when the real insanity began.
After being knocked out, Nehm was on auto-pilot which led to him taking down the ref, transitioning to his back and attempting a rear-naked choke.
