UCLA superdad LaVar Ball is back at it again.
After making headlines for contributing the Bruins’ exit from the 2017 NCAA Tournament to having too many white dudes on the court, Mr. Ball is doubling down.
Did you really expect anything else?
Ball appeared on CBS Sports Radio’s “Tiki and Tierney” show to discuss his controversial comments, when he pushed his chips all-in on the theory.
From TMZ Sports:
“But I said prove me wrong that you can’t win nowadays with three white guys on the floor at the same time,” Ball says. “I’m not saying I don’t like white people and white people can’t win or nothing like that.”
“I’m just saying when you have more athleticism (on the floor), it’s kind of hard when you don’t have the foot speed. That’s just a realistic fact.”
“It’s not racial. I can’t be racial. Some people just take it the wrong way and that’s okay.”
But that’s not all, Ball went on to say that darker skinned people are just tougher on the court.
LaVar Ball: Light-skinned dude you going in kinda soft, You’re not going in as hard to the basket and as rugged as someone who comes from the street.
Radio Host: What about Steph Curry and Klay Thompson?
LaVar Ball LeBron James goes harder than them. Who’s darker?
