South Carolina basketball standout PJ Dozier will not be returning to the Gamecocks in 2017.
On Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported the 6-foot-6 sophomore guard has signed with an agent and will remain in the NBA Draft. Dozier initially entered without an agent, but ultimately decided the time was now to turn pro.
The decision comes after an incredible season for South Carolina which ended with the first Final Four appearance in school history.
During the 2016-17 season, Dozier averaged 13.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
Dozier is currently projected to be a second round pick.
