The latest wave of NFL Draft rumors provided some positive news for Gareon Conley, who has had a whirlwind week.
Just days before the 2017 NFL Draft, Conley found himself facing rape allegations. Conley was accused of rape stemming from an incident inside of a Cleveland hotel earlier this month.
Prior to the allegations, Conley was projected as a first-round pick.
However, once the allegations came to light, teams began removing the Ohio State defensive back from their draft boards. Some began to wonder whether Conley would ultimately go undrafted as a result of the news.
Well, it doesn’t appear that will be the case.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, teams have been conducting in-depth investigations into the Conley situation and they now believe he will be drafted within the first three rounds.
After doing in-depth investigating into #OSU CB Gareon Conley’s situation, teams do believe he’ll be drafted now. 3 GMs predict third round.
