Mitch Trubisky’s tenure in Chicago is already off to a rough start.
After the Bears shocked the NFL world by trading up to select the former North Carolina quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Trubisky began making the rounds in the new city that he calls home.
That meant swinging by the United Center to take in a Chicago Bulls playoff game, but Trubisky wasn’t greeted as he would have hoped.
Instead of joy and celebration for the team’s potential future franchise quarterback, Trubisky was booed.
Fans base booed Mitch Trubisky at the Bulls game? That's pathetic and embarrassing. Kid just wants to help the Bears and fans boo? Sad.

Eventually Trubisky was shown on the jumbotron and more cheers began to be heard.

Let’s just hope that the fans eventually embrace Trubisky, because he’s clearly ready to embrace the new city.
