Lee Corso Signs Deal To Remain With ESPN College GameDay

If you thought Lee Corso was going to go away anytime soon, well, not so fast, my friends.
On Wednesday morning, ESPN announced Corso has signed a new multi-year deal to remain with the to pre-game show in college football, College GameDay.
Corso has been with ESPN since 1987 and is the only analyst to appear on ever season in College GameDay’s storied history.
This season, Corso will give his 300th headgear pick, after starting the tradition in October of 1996.

“I reflect on my 30 years at ESPN and continue to count my blessings each time I walk on the College GameDay set,” said Corso in a statement. “The fans keep me energized, and being surrounded by such a talented and dynamic GameDay crew is the best medicine for this old coach.”
The 2017 college football season kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 26. The first full weekend of action will take place from Thursday, Aug. 31 and concludes on Monday, Sept. 4 with Georgia Tech vs. Tennessee.
