Cal-State Fullerton Has The Best Facial Hair Game In The College World Series

The Cal-State Fullerton baseball entered the College World Series after a strong regular season that saw them go 39-23. They were 15-9 in conference play and batted an impressive.268 as a team.

But what is most striking about the Titans ball club isn’t in a scorebook. It’s on their faces.

Cal-State Fullerton has some of the best facial in all of college baseball. After starting the season clean shaven, as per the rules of their traditional manager, as the wins grew, so did the stubble.

As the Titans succeeded, their coach thought it best to change as little about the team as possible.

That included the facial hair on the players faces.

Fast forward 62 games, and this is what we are looking at.

Fullerton and fancy facial hair…
It just works. #CWS

The College World Series isn’t off to a great start for the Titans, though. They dropped their first game to the Oregon State Beavers, 6-5. Despite holding a lead throughout, a four-run sixth inning tied the game up for the Beavers.

Oregon State snatched the lead for good in the bottom of the eighth, and turned to the pen to bring the win home.

The Titans get a chance at redemption against Florida State on Monday at 2:00 p.m. ET.

The game will be aired nationally on ESPN.
