After a busy Saturday in college football, the action resumes on Sunday as a rivalry is reunited when top 25 opponents West Virginia and Virginia Tech go head-to-head at FedEx Field for the Black Diamond Trophy.
Virginia Tech enters the game as the higher rated team at No. 21, while the Mountaineers sit just behind at No. 22.
To add intrigue to the matchup, which is the first meeting between the two teams since Oct. 2005, both teams will be featuring new faces under center.
West Virginia will be taking the field with Florida transfer Will Grier leading the offense, while the Hokies will go with freshman signal-caller Josh Jackson. It’s a major stage for both players as they look to make a big statement in their debuts.
