USF-UConn Game Moved Up Due To Hurricane Irma

Hurricane Irma, the largest storm ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean, is expected to make landfall in Florida this weekend.
As a result, a number of sporting events have been delayed or canceled, with Saturday’s kickoff between the USF Bulls and UConn Huskies being moved up to the morning due to the threat of the storm.
On Wednesday, it was announced that kickoff — which was originally scheduled for noon — will be moved to 10:30 a.m. ET.
UConn announced the news on social media.

It is just the latest college football game to be impacted by the hurricane.
Earlier in the day, it was announced that a scheduled meeting between Miami and Arkansas State has been canceled due to the Canes’ concerns over their travel back to South Beach.
Florida State and Florida have also moved their kickoffs for Saturday.
