Well, this is something you don’t see every day in MMA.
This weekend at a promotion named Full Contact Contender, a fight between Jonno Mears and Aaron Jones ended with a submission move suited for the WWE ring.
Mears saw an opportunity to finish the fight, so he grabbed on to Jones’ legs and drew inspiration from the legendary Chris Jericho.
Mears yanked back and locked in the “Walls of Jericho” to earn the tap. (It’s really called the “Boston Crab,” if you want to be all official.)
After that, Jones will… never, EEEEEVER, be the same again!
Watch the fight-ending submission below.

Simply amazing. Kudos to you, Jonno Mears.
It looks like his love for pro wrestling extended after the fight with a little promo during his post-fight interview for his new gym which will be opening soon.
Jonno Mears told me in his Post Fight Interview he wanted the finish to go viral to promote his gym which is opening soon, Bury MMA. #FCC19
