Week 5 of the college football season is in the books which means the Football Writers Association of America and National Football Foundation have revealed the latest FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.
Alabama sits atop the poll at No. 1, but No. 2 Clemson picked up a handful of first-place votes to close the gap. The Crimson Tide have 36 of a possible 48 first-place votes, while the Tigers received one.
Third-ranked Oklahoma received the lone remaining first-place nod.
Rounding out the top five is Penn State and Georgia.
The Big Ten led all conferences with four teams (all among the top 10 teams), and The ACC, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC had three each.
