New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham suffered what appeared to be a very serious injury during Sunday afternoon’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
In the fourth quarter, Beckham went up for a catch before being pulled to the ground and twisting in awkward direction.
Beckham’s ankle was trapped under a Chargers defender he crumbled to the ground.
It was immediately clear that Beckham was in severe pain as players around him signaled to the sideline and he rolled around in tears. Ultimately, Beckham was lifted onto a cart and taken to the locker room for further evaluation.
