Lane Kiffin Makes Reference To Nick Saban's 'Rat Poison' Comments

FAU football coach Lane Kiffin is a master troller, and his social media antics often give people something to talk about.
Kiffin has been quite lately, however, as his Owls push through the 2017 college football season. But recently, comments made from Kiffin’s old boss, Alabama head coach Nick Saban, seem to have caught his attention.
After winning three of their last four games, Kiffin took to Twitter to share his team’s chances at winning the Conference USA title.
FAU is being given a solid chance, so Kiffin had to respond.
When doing so, Kiffin took a fun little jab at Saban by saying the positive praise for FAU is “rat poison.” The comments are a direct play on Saban’s comments over the weekend that said reporters delivering praise to his program is “rat poison” for the players.

Well played, Lane.
Kiffin then tweeted out some rushing stats from the nation’s leaders, praising his team’s rushing success while also giving shoutouts to his former running backs with the Crimson Tide.

See, it’s not all trolling. Kiffin still has some love for his old team.
FAU has this week off before returning to action on Oct. 21 for a home meeting with North Texas.
