The sports world has to be one of the most unforgiving work environments in the world. Facing a possible layoff, coach Butch Jones doesn’t need this kind of reminder.
As he lead his Tennessee Volunteers into battle against the South Carolina Gamecocks, it was hard to ignore the ramifications of a loss.
If he somehow managed to put the potential of joblessness out of his mind, these Gamecocks fans were there to remind him.

The Gamecocks fans didn’t reveal the shirts until the fourth quarter, while they were leading 12-9 as time ticked off the clock. They were almost forced to eat their words (or their shirts), as the Volunteers drove down the field as time expired.
Tennessee would go on and lose the game on a heartbreaking series from the two-yard line. With three chances, the Volunteers failed to punch the ball into the end zone and was handed another loss.
