Kyrie Irving made his Boston Celtics debut on Tuesday night against his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
If you were wondering whether there was any bad blood between Irving and his former teammates, that was put to rest after the game — which the Cavaliers won, 102-99.
Irving embraced LeBron James immediately after the final buzzer, before meeting with a few other familiar faces at midcourt.
That’s when Irving showed us that he a) still has respect for his teammates and b) has an incredible memory.
Among the players who greeted Irving were Kevin Love and J.R. Smith. When they came face-to-face with Irving, everyone perfectly remembered their personalized handshakes from their time together in Cleveland.
