Ohio State Football Unveils Alternate Uniforms For Penn State Game

The Ohio State football program has a big game coming up this weekend.
On Saturday, the No. 6 Buckeyes return from a bye week to host the No. 2 Penn State Nittany Lions in Columbus. The crucial Big Ten clash has drawn the attention of ESPN College GameDay, which will be broadcasting live from Columbus for the second time this season.
With such a big game ahead, Ohio State is set to break out some alternate uniforms unlike anything their fans have seen on the field before.
The Buckeyes will be wearing an all-gray jersey and pants, along with red cleats. Where the magic really happens, however, is with the helmet. Ohio State will be straying from its traditional color scheme and wearing an black and gray helmet against the Nittany Lions that will feature red Buckeye helmet stickers.
The pattern on the jersey numbers and helmet are supposed to replicate fur as an homage to the team’s 2016 mantra,  “Land of the Wolves,” according to Eleven Warriors.

Kickoff between the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
