Ronda Rousey’s return to the WWE ring seems inevitable.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the current plan is still for Rousey to appear at WrestleMania 34 alongside Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.
Rousey and her former training partners, “The Four Horsewomen,” are expected to take on “The Four Horsewomen of NXT” — Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley.
The match was initially rumored to take place at Survivor Series, but that plan was thrown out the window due to the RAW vs. SmackDown theme.
Because of the change, WrestleMania 34 is now the target date.
There was also once a rumor of a potential Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair singles match at WrestleMania, but plans appear to have shifted and there’s no word on whether that match will eventually take place.
Currently, Shayna Baszler is training at the WWE Performance Center and Rousey was spotted there this past week.
