The UNC football team will be without a key offensive player for this weekend’s clash against the No. 8 Miami Hurricanes.
On the Tar Heels’ latest injury report, running back Michael Carter, the team’s leading rusher, has officially been ruled out of Saturday afternoon contest.
There was no official word on the injury Carter is dealing with.
Through eight games this season as a true freshman, Carter has rushed for 403 yards and seven touchdowns.
Without the standout running back available for Saturday, the Tar Heels will turn to Jordon Brown, who has rushed for 371 yards and three touchdowns on the year.
Kickoff between North Carolina and Miami in Chapel Hill is set for noon ET on ESPN2.
