WARNING: Photo Gallery shows graphic photos of Zach Miller’s injury.
Chicago Bears tight end Zach Miller suffered a gruesome knee injury during Sunday’s loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Following his injury, the Bears announced he had suffered a dislocated knee.
However, the injury may have even been more severe than initially thought, according to a report from Chris Mortensen of ESPN.
According to Mort, Miller underwent urgent vascular surgery in New Orleans last night to repair artery damage in his dislocated knee. ESPN colleague Adam Schefter added that surgeons are trying not only to save Miller’s career, but his leg.
Vascular surgeons are trying to save Bears TE Zach Miller's leg, not just his career, per @mortreport.

Let’s hope the surgery is successful and Miller is able to make a full recovery. We will continue to update the story with more information as it becomes available.
