AP College Basketball Rankings: Complete Preseason Poll Released

The start of the 2017-18 college basketball season is just around the corner and the Associated Press has given us a look at some early rankings. On Wednesday afternoon, the AP Preseason Top 25 was released with the Duke Blue Devils sitting at No. 1.

The Blue Devils are led by veteran guard Grayson Allen and the nation’s top recruit, Marvin Bagley III, who reclassified in order to play this season.

Duke received 33 first-place votes, while No. 2 Michigan State received 13 and No. 3 Arizona received 18. No. 4 Kansas was the only other team to receive a first-place vote, pulling in one. Kentucky rounds out the top five.
