When will Daniel Cormier be returning to the Octagon?
According to the light heavyweight champion, fans will be finding out soon. However, he did name an opponent. According to Jose Young of SI MMA, Cormier revealed he will be facing off against Volkan Oezdemir at a yet-to-be-determined event.

The UFC has not confirmed the news.
Cormier was recrowned the light heavyweight champion after Jon Jones failed a drug test at UFC 214. Jones was stripped of the title for the third time in his career and it was then given back to Cormier, who held the title prior to the event.
Oezdemir is a relatively new face inside of the Octagon, but he has had an impressive UFC career thus far.
After signing with the UFC earlier this year, the Swiss fighter has hauled off three consecutive wins. Most impressively, his last two wins over Jimi Manuwa and Misha Cirkunov were knockouts in under a minute.
The 28-year-old Oezdemir holds a professional record of 15-1.
