There has been rumbling that UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley could be defending his title at UFC 219 against Nate Diaz.
Woodley has expressed his desire to be on the year-end show on Dec. 30 in Las Vegas, but there are very few opponents available. Woodley has also been aiming for a big money fight, so Diaz’s name has popped into the discussion.
And according to Woodley, the fight is already 50 percent set.
Woodley says that he has already agreed to the fight offer. The only thing left is for Diaz to sign on the dotted line.
The champion made the comments during a sitdown with TMZ Sports.
