Scott Frost is getting a lot of attention after guiding his team through a unbeaten regular season.
The UCF Knights, just two seasons removed from going 0-12, finished the regular season at a perfect 11-0. All indications are that he’ll be at a high-profile university next season.
But where? The University of Florida is making a strong push.
But his alma mater, Nebraska, also has an opening and is attempting to lure him back home.
On ESPN College GameDay this morning, Kirk Herbstreit weighed in on where he thinks the hottest coach in college football will land.

The Gators have more talent, and with better coaching, are better suited for a quick turnaround. But the allure of coaching at your alma mater might prove to be too much to resist.
Herbie clearly expects Frost to end up at Florida, but never underestimate the power of sentimentality.
That’s basically all that Nebraska has over Florida right now.
While there is no word on when a deal might be finalized at either school, things might accelerate now that Chip Kelly is off the table. The former “mad scientist” agreed to terms at UCLA earlier today, and that could result in a windfall of coaches filling the numerous vacancies around the FBS right now.
