Vols football fans are none too pleased with Sunday morning reports that Tennessee was working to finalize a deal with Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano to become the next head coach.
The news was immediately met with heavy backlash, including a trio of state lawmakers speaking out against a potential Schiano hiring.
Vols fans are not against the hiring because of a perceived lack of coaching ability for Schiano, but because of previous reports that court documents show a sworn testimony from former Penn State assistant Mike McQueary alleges Schiano was aware of the child sex abuse that led to the imprisonment of his former boss, Jerry Sandusky.
With all of the emotions swirling, the Vols faithful decided to take their protest to The Rock on campus with a very direct message.

With such a negative reaction pouring out of Knoxville, it would be stunning to see Tennessee follow through with its pursuit of Schiano. Before even accepting the job, he’s already public enemy No. 1.
The only question now is: If not Schiano, who?
