Unresponsive South Carolina State Basketball Player Stretchered Off Court

The South Carolina State basketball team suffered a scary moment on Saturday.
During a game against North Carolina State, one player collapsed on the sideline and was unresponsive. After being attended to by the medical staff, the player was placed on a stretcher and taken off of the court.
The player was senior guard Tyvoris Solomon.
The good news is that Solomon recovered and was responsive once he made his way to the hospital. To understand the severity of the situation, Solomon had to be revived courtside as the medical staff performed CPR.

NC State took to Twitter to thank the medical staffs of both programs for their quick response.

We will provide more information on Solomon’s status as it becomes available.
South Carolina State currently trails the Wolfpack, 39-21.
