College Football Playoff Rankings 2017: Who’s In & Who’s Out?

It’s the most important college football rankings of the year.

On Sunday morning, the official College Football Playoff rankings were released to determine who will go head-to-head in the postseason to determine the national champion.

Defending national champion Clemson was a shoo-in for the playoff, but who would be joining them? The Tigers ranked No. 1.

The Oklahoma Sooners came it at No. 2, while the SEC Champion Georgia Bulldogs found themselves at No. 3. To round out the rankings, the Alabama Crimson Tide leapfrogged the Ohio State Buckeyes to reach the No. 4 spot.
