Oklahoma Football: Sooners RB Rodney Anderson Accused Of Rape

Oklahoma football player Rodney Anderson has been accused of rape, according to an emergency protective order filed against the Sooners running back in a Cleveland Country court.
The Tulsa World reported the news on Tuesday morning.
The incident is alleged to have happened after the woman who filed the suit met Anderson at a bar prior to the team’s game against Kansas on Nov.16.
From the court filing:

“All I remembered from the night was kissing him and vomiting for about 20 minutes. This past weekend, I was talking to a friend about the night and started recalling images and feelings of him forcing his fingers into my vagina and feeling sick, him biting me and me not feeling like I could say anything, and trying to get away from him to put clothes on.
“I remember feeling like I couldn’t get away. He knows where I live and I’m scared for my safety.”

Norman police are investigating the incident, though no charges have officially been fired.
Anderson is the leading rusher for Oklahoma, which is set to face off against the Georgia Bulldogs in the Rose Bowl on Jan.1, with 960 yards and 11 touchdowns.
