The 2017 Iron Bowl was the ratings king in college football this season.
On Monday, Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated revealed the most viewed games of the season with Auburn vs. Alabama on CBS edging out Georgia vs. Auburn as the most watched game of the year. Both games earned more than 13 million viewers and both SEC clashes were on CBS.
Following the two SEC games was the Big Ten Championship between Ohio State and Wisconsin, topping 12.9 million viewers on FOX.
The season-opener between Florida State and Alabama brought in 12.3 million, with Ohio State vs. Michigan topping 10.5 million to round out the top five.
