A post-game conversation between LeBron James and Lonzo Ball captured the imagination of the internet after the Cleveland Cavaliers star used his jersey to cover his mouth from any lip-reading media while delivering a message to the Los Angeles Lakers rookie.
Media asked LeBron what he said to Ball at the post-game press conference, but he said it was no one’s business.
Ball also declined to comment.
That led to rampant speculation on social media about what LeBron had actually said to the promising, but struggling first-year player.
Well, thanks to a video from the Chinese broadcast and one reddit user who scoured the internet for the footage, we now know most of what was said.

“Find your zone and just stay f**king locked in. The media is going to ask you what I told you right now (but so what). Just be aggressive every single day. (Inaudible)…it’s white noise. That’s all it is. Alright?”
A lot of people are going to be disappointed that LeBron wasn’t telling Lonzo he was going to be joining the Lakers. Instead, he was being a veteran and offering advice to a young player. We all knew in the back of our minds that was all it really ever was.
But the speculation was fun while it lasted.
