After Diddy made his intentions to buy the Carolina Panthers known, current NFL star Joe Thomas also wants in on the mix.
During a series of tweets on Monday night, the Cleveland Browns offensive tackle vowed to purchase the team if he is able to get 1 million retweets on Twitter.
Sure, he was joking, but Thomas ran with it and laid out his plan if he were to ever own a franchise.
1) We would not sign a punter, for there would be no use when we go for it on every 4th down. 2) We would not sign a kicker, for there would be no use when we go for it on every 4th dn. 3) We immediately rename the team the Carolina Mission BBQs

I’m going to go the @packers route and sell “shares” of the team for $200 each to anyone who wants to join my ownership group. 12.5mm shares available! Hurry, there’s not many left!

The Panthers are up for sale following the news that team owner Jerry Richardson was being investigated for sexual and racial misconduct. Richardson will not be starting the sale process until the conclusion of the 2017-18 NFL season.
