The UGA football program continued to bolster its offensive line on the first day of the early signing period on Wednesday.
Jamaree Salyer, the top-ranked guard in the Class of 2018, announced this morning that he has committed to play for Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs over the Clemson Tigers.
Salyer made his announcement at a mini press conference.
Wilson Alexander of The Telegraph captured video of the moment Salyer made his commitment official.

Salyer, a 6-foot-4 standout from Pace Academy in Atlanta, is the No. 3 overall player in the state and the 10th ranked overall prospect in the nation.
It’s a major get for Kirby Smart and the ‘Dawgs.
Salyer joins fellow Georgia native Trey Hill in Athens. Hill, from Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia, is the No. 2 ranked guard prospect in the nation.
It’s safe to say Georgia is continuing to build in the trenches which should allow the tradition of a strong rushing attack to continue.
