The Texas football program will be down three players for the Texas Bowl matchup against the Missouri Tigers.
wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey, the team’s second-leading receiver, running back Toneil Carter and tight end Garrett Gray are the trio suspended for an unspecified violation of team rules.

This season, Humphrey has hauled in 37 receptions for 431 yards and a touchdown. Carter rushed for 252 yards and four total touchdowns, while Gray has just four catches for 18 yards.
The Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl — that’s a mouthful, isn’t it? — takes place Wednesday, Dec. 27 at NRG Stadium, home of the NFL’s Houston Texans. Kickoff is set for 9:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
