The 2018 Senior Bowl will have some serious star power, with Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield accepting an invitation on Friday.
The Senior Bowl announced the addition of the Oklahoma Sooners star quarterback on social media.
It marks the first time since Tim Tebow in 2010 that a Heisman Trophy winner has played in the all-star game which takes place at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.

Other quarterbacks to accept invitations are Mason Rudolph (Oklahoma State), Luke Falk (Washington State), Kurt Benkert (Virginia), Mike White (Western Kentucky), Kyle Lauletta (Richmond) and Brandon Silvers (Troy).
All of the signal-callers will put their skills on display in front of scouts and executives from all 32 teams throughout the week before the game on Saturday.
The Senior Bowl takes place on Jan. 27. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET.
