Cavaliers vs.Warriors live stream, start time, betting odds and TV information for Monday’s NBA Christmas Day matchup between Cleveland and Golden State.
In the biggest matchup of the NBA’s Christmas Day schedule, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors once again meet on the holiday in a NBA Finals rematch.
It is the best head-to-head matchup the NBA has to offer, with the two franchises meeting in the last three NBA Finals.
This year, however, the Cavaliers will have a different look after trading away star point guard Kyrie Irving during the offseason in exchange for Isaiah Thomas from the Boston Celtics. However, Thomas is still not at 100 percent. Derrick Rose is also injured — go figure — so the Cavaliers will be rolling with Jose Calderon as the starting point guard.
Unfortunately for the Warriors, the also appear ready to roll once again without star Steph Curry.
“If this were not the Christmas game versus Cleveland, I don’t think any of you would even be asking me about it,” said Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, via ESPN. “He hasn’t even had a three-on-three game. If we weren’t playing Cleveland on Christmas and I told you Steph hasn’t even played in a three-on-three game, hasn’t had any contact at all and the game was 48 hours from now, you would say that Steph’s not going to play. But because it’s the magnitude of the game and everybody wants to know.
“But we can’t let that affect our judgment. He can’t play. It would be completely irresponsible if he did.”
