During Saturday night’s Orange Bowl matchup between the No. 11 Miami Hurricanes and No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers, Miami football coach Mark Richt lost his cool.
Richt was furious after referees appeared to miss a blatant holding call which led to a blowup from the coach.
Richt immediately chased down and screamed at the referee, before grabbing his arm.
Contact with an official generally results in an automatic disqualification from the contest, but Richt was not ejected. Instead, he was simply given a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Here is video of Richt going off on the sideline.

This is the call in question.

Unsurprisingly, Richt was still perturbed as he headed to the locker room at halftime.

Should Richt have been ejected? Absolutely, but the referees made their decision and the game goes on.
Early in the third quarter, Wisconsin leads Miami, 24-21.
You can catch the remainder of the Orange Bowl by tuning in to ESPN.
