It’s New Year’s Eve, which means those who will be at home to watch the iconic ball drop in New York City’s Times Square need to decide which network they will tune in to when they bring in 2018.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC is a classic, while FOX will be led by comedian Steve Harvey and a number of musical performances.
But another entertaining option is always CNN.
While the news network is one of the most reliable names in news, the anchors loosen up on New Year’s Eve and let their personalities shine as they look back at 2017 and prepare to ring in a new year.
This year, the New Year’s Eve Live special will be hosted by good friends Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, who is replacing Kathy Griffin after she was removed from her co-hosting duties thanks to a controversial tweet about President Donald Trump.
Here is how to watch:
Channel: CNN
Time: 8:00 p.m. ET
Live Stream: Stream 1
Along with Cooper and Cohen, the special will feature other CNN anchors scattered across the country to observe traditions from different cities across the United States.
The most entertaining duo is Brooke Baldwin and Don Lemon, who will be in New Orleans.
Last year, the duo was hammering back shots throughout the night which led to Don Lemon bearing his soul on live television while also getting his ear pierced inside of a bar.
Don Lemon is so drunk right now he’s spilling his heart on #CNNNYE for his New Year’s Resolution. 😂 pic.twitter.com/52npFU7Pmc
