On Monday afternoon the latest AP Top 25 college basketball poll was released with plenty of movement at the top of the poll after No. 1 Villanova was upset by unranked Butler earlier in the week.
The Michigan State Spartans now occupy the top spot, earning 43 first-place votes. Sitting at No. 2 is the Duke Blue Devils, receiving 21 first-place nods.
After their upset loss, the Villanova Wildcats fall to No. 3, while Arizona State and Xaxier round out the top five.
